HR Business Solutions’ consultants have years of practical management and human resources experience within a range of industries including, retail, hospitality, engineering, professional services firms, mining, pharmaceutical, advertising, manufacturing, finance and IT sector to name a few. Our ability to cross pollinate ideas between industries results in effective and innovation strategies that benefit your business.
We have also recently opened our new organisational development division, and are planning to expand our organisational psychology services further in 2008, adding more experienced organisational psychologists to assist us in providing organisational development services in the areas of psychometric testing, job profiling, culture and employee surveys and 360 assessments, to name a few.

A registered Organisational Psychologist, Melissa McCarthy brings a particular set of skills to the HR Business Solutions mix. Knowing that the key to every successful organisation is its people, Melissa works effectively with clients to develop practical, easy to implement solutions that best suit their needs.
Drawing on her expertise in Organisational Development, Melissa has successfully supported many organisations to recruit, develop and retain employees and executives. She draws on reliable, valid psychometric assessments to gauge the culture and job-fit of every candidate. In Melissa’s armoury, psychometric testing is a valuable tool that facilitates individual, leadership and team development.
Melissa also utilises psychometric testing as a tool for individual, leadership, and team development. Melissa’s other areas of skill include: emotional intelligence, facilitation, team building, organisational surveys, exit and commencement interviews.

Tarni brings eleven years of experience to the HR Business Solutions team. She discovered her passion for providing people services almost by accident, travelling overseas, Tarni worked in the HR field in London for one of Europe’s largest consultancies – opening her eyes to what committed professionals can achieve for their clients. Today, she has an enviable breadth of experience ranging from retail to hospitals, construction, legal, hospitality and government. Tarni has worked at both ends of the HR spectrum: mature stable companies and growth companies. Her skills set includes training, recruitment, attraction, retention and performance management.

Trudy joins us with a Degree in Business and Human Resources and a keen interest in HR compliance, systems and policy development. Her career to date has included working as a key member of in-house HR teams primarily in the in the engineering and manufacturing industries working in tough competitive business environments where she was forced to think ‘outside of the box’ to deliver HR solutions in a tight labour market.
As a business partner to both line and human resources managers, Trudy has provided advice and support in all operational areas of HR. Trudy’s primary expertise and interest is in the areas of: global mobility, remuneration and benefits, performance management, policy development, industrial relations, and attraction and retention.

Penelope is the Office Manager of HR Business Solutions and is the main point of contact for all clients and suppliers. Penelope has extensive experience in Office Management and Accounts and ensures the smooth running of operations for HRBS.
