HR Roundtable
Want to know where Brisbane's leading HR Practitioners are getting their practical and innovative solutions? |
What do Ernst and Young, Credit Union Australia, Flight Centre and Westpac have in common? Yes, they are all hugely successful and influential brands; but there’s also another thread which bonds these organisations, which until now has been a relative secret…
It’s well known that Queensland HR professionals have for some time lacked a quality structured leadership forum to share their experience, challenges and strategies; but that’s all changing and these blue chip organisations are all reaping the benefit thanks to a powerful new initiative which HRBS has launched in Brisbane: the HRBS Roundtable. HR Business Solutions invite you to join one of our HRBS Roundtable forums which provide HR Practitioners from a range of industries to meet and discuss common issues and openly share practical solutions in a confidential environment. Expert guest speakers (including some of our wonderful clients) present regularly to the group on topical HR issues.
If you are interested in attending an upcoming HR Roundtable, contact the team at HRBS by emailing info@hrbs.com.au
HOW DOES THE HRBS ROUNDTABLE WORK?
If you are on our guest list you will receive an invitation to attend a future HRBS Roundtable. Groups are limited to 14 people to ensure quality conversations take place. Roundtables are facilitated by Tina Radford, MD from HRBS. Registration to attend is only $85 + GST per meeting.
WHAT TOPICS WILL WE DISCUSS?
At the HRBS Roundtable, you will have the opportunity to discuss your organisations unique HR issues by submitting the ‘HRBS Roundtable Issues Form’ to us prior to the meeting. Based on the feedback and interests of participants, we organise relevant guest speakers to present from time to time.

Here is what our clients say about the HRBS Roundtables:

“I thoroughly enjoyed Karen Williams session on change management and the input from the wider variety of HR professionals. The session contained very valuable information sharing and I came away feeling as though it was a worthwhile experience. Well done on holding these roundtables, it is just what is needed at the moment in Brisbane. I will be catching up with a few of the people to do some one on one networking.” Kathy Dodd, Senior HR Manager, Ernst and Young

"I have now attended nearly all of the Roundtable events and found them very worthwhile. I have found that you can become quite insular working within your organisation and these roundtable events have enabled me to meet with other HR professionals to share experiences, challenges, ideas and solutions to issues that we may be dealing with. The speakers and topics have been very relevant to the times that we are currently facing and each Roundtable has been very professionally run by Tina. It is also a great opportunity to meet with other like-minded HR professionals and hear what they are doing in their organisations." Sonia Pitt, Human Resources Manager – Operations - Cement Australia

"There is simply not enough well structured networking opportunities in Brisbane and proactively HRBS established these roundtable sessions so a collection of HR professionals from different industries can openly share their common issues on relevant topics and come away with some very practical ideas. A great way to meet fellow professionals and upskill at the same time." Belinda Parish, HR Manager, Carter Newell Lawyers

"Having access to an HR practitioner of the calibre of Stephanie Rascoe, Head of HR Infrastructure, Asia Pacific – Barclays Capital via the HRBS Roundtable was a great opportunity, and one that I would not have had otherwise. In addition to Stephanie providing her insights on why we need to maintain focus, consistency, and high levels of professionalism when dealing with large-scale change in a global business, the experiences of the other HR practitioners rounded out what was a great learning experience. Thank you Tina for sharing your network so graciously." Deanne Lynagh, Group Organisational Development Manager, APN News & Media Limited |
