TEC TPP Group - 18th September TEC’s new TEC Partner Program Group will meet for the first time on the 18th of September after all TEC day at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Tina would like to congratulate and welcome the new members to her group.

Australian Institute of Management-HR on a Shoestring

Tina was the presenter at the recent AIM SPIN event on 11 August and presented on "HR on a shoestring". Which looked at the practicalities of downsizing, restructuring, performance gaps and how HR Managers and business owners can do more with less and work with a smaller budget.

AHRI HR Practices Day 2009

HRBS exhibited at the annual HR Practices Day Conference which is a nationwide series of events across all states. HRBS thoroughly enjoyed catching up with clients and colleagues.

Evolve Marketing Conference

HR Summit - Singapore

The HR summit is the number one event for HR in Asia featuring international speakers and business experts – along with global and regional HR leaders. This year, Singapore's HR Summit was a record breaker - surpassing any previous HR event ever staged in Asia with 3,633 visitors! Tina attended the conference with friends of HRBS from Barclays Capital, Stephanie Rascoe, Head of Human Resources and Marianne Lim.

Women in Finance

In May, Tina presented at the Women in Finance professional development breakfast at Customs House in Brisbane on popular topic of retaining talent in tough economic times – how do we retain our talent amongst the downsizing and restructuring. This session was well attended by Women in Finance in a variety of positions.

Cross Agency Women's Conference

In March, Tina was invited to present at the inaugral Queensland Government Cross Agency Women’s Conference held in Brisbane, in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Mines and Energy and Brisbane City Council.  The intention of the Conference was to maximise the contributions of women in all aspects of the Agency’s business as well as promote cross Agency collaboration on environmental and management challenges for Queensland. Tina presented on commuication and negotiation skills for women in business. Her presentation received favorable reviews from the 100 attendee's.

The Executive Connection (TEC)

Tina presented to Brendan Killen's TEC Group in Feburary on Essential HR tips for CEO’s. The sessions covered practical HR tips for CEO's.... HR101! Tina will be presenting again to Amanda Cole's TEC Key group in October.
